Colonel Velicheti Venkateswara Rao an alumnus of National Defence Academy retired after 32 years of service. He had five postings in Jammu and Kashmir including Siachen Glacier and four postings in the North East. Qualified in counter insurgency and counter terrorism operations he handled the subject at army headquarters for 3 years. He commanded an infantry battalion on the line of control in Kashmir. His interests include international relations and counter terrorist activities across the world. He obtained academic qualifications in strategy from Madras university, management from IIM Ahmedabad . Public Relations from Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan and AI &ML from SPIJMR.
