Excel question from one of my YouTube subscribers. This involves an IF statement with custom rounding. We want to round down any numbers that are even with a decimal place. For example, 100.5, 102.5, and 14.5 should round down. 100.5 becomes 100, 102.5 becomes 102, and 14.5 becomes 14. With odd numbers 33.5, 47.5, and 101.5, we round up. 33.5 becomes 34, 47.5 becomes 48, and 101.5 becomes 102. When done, we do not have any odd numbers - only even numbers. To figure this out, we will use the IF function, ISEVEN function, and ROUNDUP function. Also shown are ROUND and ROUNDDOWN functions. We don't need those two functions, but they are shown so you can see how they work. We also Evaluate Formula feature located on the Data tab in Excel.
