Ruby Franke was once America's mom. She was a Mormon woman who built a family vlogging empire, and at its peak, her channel had almost 2 million subscribers. Ruby Franke was not the perfect mother she seemed to be, and she is currently serving time for multiple accounts of child abuse against her own children. In this week's video, I react to Devil in the Family: The Fall of Ruby Franke. I also share my unique perspective on how Mormonism shaped this woman into the monster in the shadows.
