A new take on round weaving or cirular weaving. This fun fiber art form doesn't require any fancy equipment and there is still a lot to explore creatively. I'm using two metal rings for this project, some linen fiber and cotton string. Trying to make an interesting outer ring as to frame the woven middle part. By creating a contrast between a lot of texture and straight lines.
Trying something new is always scary, but I do think that is when the magic happens. Getting out of your comfort zone. I always gravitate towards color, but wanted to experiment with a neutral pallette for once. It forced me to think about creating interest in a piece in another way.
I hope you enjoy the journey and perhaps like the final fiberart piece. Will you let me know in the comments?
