Packs Landing is also known as Rimini boat ramp. Located in Pinewood, SC on Santee Cooper's Lake Marion. Rimini Landing is One of 24 Public Boat Landings at the head of the Santee River and Sparkleberry Swamp. If you are looking for a great place to put in or just fish from the bank, this is a good one. There is a great hiking trail between Packs and Sparkleberry Landing that you can walk along the water's edge.
Packs landing is on the North side of Lake Marion above I95. Just south of Sparkleberry swamp, NorthWest of Summerton
Santee Cooper Lake has 24 Public boat landings on the Lake and a couple on the canal. There are boat docks and 4 boat ramps. There is a shaded gazebo, a fishing dock, a pier, and walking trails.
*****This Swamp is Amazing. But, IT IS EASY TO GET TURNED AROUND IN THERE. BE SAFE. Tell Someone where you are paddling. Take enough water and food. Have a map, GPS plotter or make sure your phone has internet.******
This video is part of a series covering 24 public boat landings around Lake Marion and Lake Moultrie. There is a bait shop at Packs landing. Lots of hiking, as the Palmetto Trail comes right through here while hugging the lake.
Please remember there are alligators in Marion. So watch your animals.
