The evolution of LED floodlights has been fast. The new era of very cheap and flickery DOB (Driver On Board) based LED panels has meant that this original style with separate LED and driver has become almost obsolete.
I can understand why the manufacturers moved to the cheaper integrated LEDs and why they literally glue the cases shut for a good waterproof seal on their short lived and unserviceable landfill-lights.
This older style is fully serviceable, and can also be customised with your personal choice of LED.
This one uses the 9-in-series 27V version of the 9 chip 10W LEDs. (As opposed to the 9V 3-series by 3-parallel version.)
This light was being sold off cheap by a UK seller who was getting rid of older stock. It's notable for having a real earth/ground connection, a decent length of cable and a surprisingly good power supply with lots of filtering.
