Join me as we leave the Mid-Autumn Lantern Festival behind and head out for a scenic walk through Boston's Rose Kennedy Greenway and into the historic South Station. 🌆
We start at the Auntie Kay & Uncle Frank Chin Park, part of the Greenway, honoring two pillars of Boston's Chinatown community. The park’s design adds beauty and tranquility to this lively area.
From there, we:
Take in views of some of Boston’s tallest skyscrapers as we walk along Surface Road. 🌇
Pass by the impressive South Station Tower construction, a major project set to redefine the skyline.
Admire the striking architecture of the Federal Reserve Tower.
Stop to see artists working on a new mural at the Breathe Life Together gallery, adding vibrant color to the neighborhood. 🎨
We then arrive at historic South Station, one of Boston's busiest transit hubs. Highlights include:
The unique pyramid-shaped entrances that caught my eye.
A look inside the station, with vendors like Starbucks and Dunkin’ Donuts side by side. ☕🍩
The boarding area and the station’s lively atmosphere, where travelers are always on the move.
