#buddha #china #walkingtour Hello everyone, welcome to my channel. Today, I’ve come to the Maitreya Sacred Altar Scenic Area. The Maitreya Sacred Altar is located in Fenghua District, Ningbo City, Zhejiang Province, on the picturesque Xuedou Mountain, a renowned Buddhist site. This sacred altar is like a city in the sky, a temple in the clouds, resplendent in gold and radiating grandeur. The Maitreya Sacred Altar was designed by the Tsinghua University Architectural Design and Research Institute. Its design concept blends traditional culture with modern technology, showcasing exceptional artistry and functionality. Spanning approximately 300 acres with a total floor area of 51,000 square meters, the structure shines with golden brilliance on the outside while revealing a unique interior. The seamless combination of classical and modern styles offers a journey through time and space, evoking the profound and vast essence of Buddhist culture. This entire project cost 1.2 billion yuan and officially opened to the public in October. 00:00 Preview 01:35 Front Square 02:07 Worship Hall 04:20 Light and Shadow Corridor 06:55 Giant Dome 11:36 Spiral Light and Shadow Staircase 15:34 Sky Palace in the Clouds 25:21 Aerial View 26:41 Maitreya Museum
