Important Notes:
1. Amendment to Dolby Atmos Assembler Information:
Dolby confirmed that the Album Assembler is millisecond-based (not frame-based). However, it is capable of rendering sample-accurate files, meaning my earlier concerns about final master assets are not valid. When selecting the start and end of a file (e.g., the stereo master) and exporting, the assembler will render a sample-accurate ADM BWF.
2. Loudness Standards for Atmos:
The final ADM BWF Atmos master file must adhere to -18 LKFS loudness and a true peak not exceeding -1.0 dBTP. These limits are based on the final dial norm, accessible through the loudness measurement in the renderer. Lower loudness levels (LKFS and dBTP) may be appropriate for certain albums, as discussed in the video.
