Today I will show you the city of Kragujevac, on the territory of which the Illyrians and Romans once lived. In the 12th century, the territory became part of the Serbian state.
The most significant period in the development of the city began in 1818, when Prince Miloš Obrenović declared Kragujevac the capital of Serbia.
During the First World War, Kragujevac again became the capital, where Aleksandar Karađorđević resided and the Serbian Army High Command was located here.
