I am sure that some of you may be relieved that the shovel doesn't make an appearance in this week's episode - instead, I swap it for a branch cutter and we get clearing the land. We have a lot of dead and overhanging branches around our perimeter, so we worked to clear them and basically just open up our walkways and view. It was great to see the land transform, and begin to enjoy a little more useable space around the plot. Hope you enjoy!
ABOUT US AND WHAT'S NEXT:
We are Cam & Rachel (and the dogs are Odin and Heimdall), and we have been living nomadically together for the last few years. We always knew that we had our eyes set on *more* - and in the summer of 2024 our graft finally came into fruition and we had our offer accepted on a stunning plot of land in the Scottish Highlands.
So, what does our journey moving forward look like? We're going through the planning permission process to see whether we can build our own off-grid home in Scotland. In the meantime, vanlife will continue - with the prospect of a container home in our near future too.
