Exploring the overlooked and under appreciated pumping engine at Sandfields in Lichfield

In this video we explore the Sandfields Pumping Engine, the worlds 4th largest surviving Beam Engine which was the catalyst for the eradication of the Black Country's Cholera Pandemic. The remains are a both beautiful and functional, moving mind blowing quantities of fresh water to the polluted industrial Midlands.
