F5A51 Transmission, No Forward, Slips in Reverse - Transmission Repair

This is a 5 speed Mitsubishi unit exhibiting a common failure. Although the wavy didn't cause the pump to fail, it still failed causing a complete burn up of this unit. The most common issue is the low reverse wavy breaking in multiple pieces. Some of these pieces make their way to the pump and get cought up on the pump gears causing it to break. On this unit we see that the gears are in good health but the pomp cover has visible cracks causing loss of pressure.
