Now THIS is a tabletop RPG! Crawling through dungeons and slaying dragons is fine and dandy, but done to death.
I've read through a lot of rulebooks, and played a lot of games, and let me tell you: THIS is probably gonna be one of my all time favorites for now and forever.
The short story of what makes it great is that it's easy to read through, and has plenty of options and tools for both players and GMs alike.
... but let's be real? Every indie ttRPG tries to bill themselves that way, and it may certainly seem that way to them while they're developing it, since they're so familiar with it by the time they're taking their manuscript to the presses but...
Take my word for it as somebody who never read any of the manuscripts of this until the final copy was released: this definitely is modular and simple.
10/10. Good game. Definitely a candidate for "One Game I Would Take With Me On A Deserted Island."
