There seems to be a relatively new Chinese microcontroller chip with very interesting properties, wireless, great power and memory - the W806; last time I tried to use it with Arduino on Linux, however, I was unsuccessful in obtaining a functioning Arduino core (something, however, that might just better work on Windows), and this presents a record of this effort. Sincerely I hope that things have improved / will improve, for it is an interesting device that deserves attention. (I could not get very enthusiastic about their own SDK.)
