Would you like to create a cozy and welcoming entry for fall and winter without spending a lot of money? In today’s video, I challenged myself to decorate my front porch and foyer using 15 thrift store items and things that I already have around the house for an extremely budget friendly makeover. The only new items that I purchased were some real pumpkins and a new door mat. First, I’ll clean and add some fresh paint, and then I’ll style my thrifted items. Using thrift store items is not only economical, but it allows you to create a unique and storied space that is much more interesting than just buying a bunch of expensive new home decor (that will be out of style in a few years). The items that I will be incorporating include a metal wreath, wall art, figurines, brass and copper containers, a vintage candlestick, a needlepoint pillow, a vintage rug, a velvet and ceramic pumpkin, a broken clock, old books, picture frames, faux flowers, greenery, and fruit.
