For those of you that have asked:
My favourite pole for home use is 45mm stainless steel, with static & spinning modes. Your climate and skin type may affect what pole surface works best for you though, so try different finishes at local pole schools before buying if you can.
My favourite grip aid is Dry Hands, which grips without compromising the fluidity of slides and static pole spins, and doesn't leave skin feeling too chalky (eww). Avoid using grip aids frequently during training for maximum benefit when showtime comes :)
My diet: mostly paleo, since 2012.
