2024 Hanoi, Vietnam I found a very cheap ticket on China Eastern Airlines, so I went to Hanoi, Vietnam for a three-day weekend + one day.
Due to an out-of-season typhoon, our flight was significantly delayed and we missed our connecting flight, so the airline helped us make alternative flights and hotel arrangements.
In fact, this alternative flight had not been properly processed, so I was assigned an Air China flight that happened to be delayed, and somehow managed to get to Hanoi.
We had planned to stay in Hanoi for two full days, but ended up staying for 24 hours, making it a hectic but very fulfilling trip.
