I've noticed that the temperature in my Renogy DCC50S DC-DC Charger has been going above the max operating temperature. I had seen it do it before but with the recent "heat bubble" I noticed it again and started getting concerned. I decided to pull the trigger and order a fan and temperature controller to mount in the electrical box that houses the charge controller. My hope is that by dialing the controller I can have the fan come on and at least move some air through the box and drop the temps enough to keep it in spec!
