I received another dump truck full of cedar from our good friend Phil! In that delivery was one really big cedar that I was able to mill several large fascia boards from for our timber frame deck rebuild. That was a really beautiful log and produced great lumber. Then I picked the second biggest to get the remaining boards needed.
I've got more cedar there than I need at the moment, but I do have plans to continue tidying up that deck area underneath, so this will be perfect for that (that'll be next year likely).
A quick glimpse of our weekend at the lake, and then back to work on the deck to get the joists trimmed, fascia installed, and plywood finished off. (I did screw in the plywood pieces at the end 😊)
