This is my first visit to Tunnel Hill, Georgia and Ringgold, Georgia. Back in 2018 I passed through Ringgold but didn't get any trains back then. On this visit we got a train at both places although we had a long wait for both of them. I rode here with Scott @1960gambit and we also got trains at Coffeys Cliff in Chattanooga. I put a sample of a CSX train going through the yard in this video. I already posted 2 videos of that railroad yard so check out those videos.
We walked down to the tunnel at Tunnel Hill and you will see it in this video. There is a fence between the original tunnel and the new tunnel that is in use. There is no way to film a train at this location due to the fence blocking the view so we had to go to the railroad crossing. It was a very hot day with not much shade at Tunnel Hill. We also got a high rail truck passing through and left shortly after it passed. This CSX line is the same one that goes through Chattanooga and the best radio frequency is 161.370 and EOT at 452.9375.
