Fate/ Stay Night has many interesting characters. Rin, Saber, Sakura, and Shirou of which have all had their characters explored at length. Illya, you should put it together if I make that Illyasviel Von Einzbern, hasn't had the same luck however. In each route glimpses of her core can be seen, as well as a different side to her in each story. Part one of what will become this exhaustive video essay covers her role in the Fate route, in which we see Illya with her thickest "mask" on.
