In today's video, we narrate the story of Mir Aimal Kansi, who in 1993 shot and killed two CIA employees and injured others in a Virginia highway attack before fleeing the U.S. Investigators gathered key forensic evidence, including a fingerprint, which helped identify Kansi as the suspect. He escaped to Pakistan, where local support made his capture challenging. After a long international manhunt involving the FBI and local informants, Kansi was eventually apprehended, extradited to the U.S., and sentenced to death. He later confessed, explaining that he targeted CIA employees out of anger at U.S. policies.
