In Matthew 10 Jesus exhorts his disciples to fear not, to not be afraid. But, when Jesus says to fear not, what does he mean?

In the context of Matthew 10, Jesus is telling his disciples not to fear just those who can cause you physical harm, or physical death, which is finite and temporal, but the one who can after physical death destroy your body and soul in hell.
