We are headed to the most ancient sacred temple in Shanghai, China - the Longhua Temple. This temple holds great historical significance, as it is the oldest temple in the area. As we explore, you will notice a magnificent bell tower, weighing a staggering 3.3 tons. Inside the temple, you will find an array of golden statues, with a room dedicated to 500 of them, representing various Asian cultures.

One of the long-standing customs during the Lunar New Year is to visit the temple and pray for peace and prosperity for our families. Although it is the first day, the temple is not yet crowded, but security measures have been heightened. In this video, I will share with you the increased security outside and inside the temple, as well as the serene atmosphere during the afternoon and evening. We will also visit the temple's famous vegetarian noodle shop, where you must try their delicious Vegetable Noodle soup for just 15 Yuan. It's a popular spot, always bustling with people. Interestingly, you can pay using QR code scanning on the table and even ask for additional dishes at the same price.
I really like eating vegetarian noodles here, I recommend you eat this noodle restaurant if you have the opportunity to visit the temple
The reason for the heightened security during the Lunar New Year is due to the temple's collection of 500 golden statues and its significance to the local community. It is a place of great reverence and protection and safe for everyone when crowded
