Eine der größten Sammlungen an historischen Eisenbahnfahrzeugen der Spurweite 600mm befindet sich im Frankfurter Feldbahnmuseum. Die Sammlung umfasst 70 Lokomotiven und ca. 200 Wagons aller Art, davon 20 Dampflokomotiven.
Auf dem Gelände des Feldbahnmuseums und des angrenzenden Rebstockgeländes finden monatlich Fahrtage statt. Jeder Fahrtag steht unter einem anderen Motto, im Dezember gibt es den Nikolausfahrtag, der hier zu sehen ist.
Das Frankfurter Feldbahnmuseum bietet dabei sowohl den technisch Interessierten Eisenbahnfans als auch Kindern und Jugendlichen einen sehr interessanten und spannenden Tag mit Fahrbetrieb und viel Dampf.
One of the largest collections of historical railway vehicles with a gauge of 600mm can be found in the Frankfurt Feldbahn Museum. The collection includes 70 locomotives and around 200 wagons of all types, 20 of which are steam locomotives.
Ride days take place every month on the site of the Feldbahn Museum and the adjacent Rebstock area. Each day of the ride has a different motto; in December there is St. Nicholas Day, which can be seen here.
The Frankfurt Field Railway Museum offers both technically interested railway fans as well as children and young people a very interesting and exciting day with trains and lots of steam.
