In this video, I am out for a winter overnight camp in my new hot tent with a wood stove to keep me toasty and warm. It is nearly Christmas, so I have my silly hat on, some tasty Christmas food to cook on the stove and some red wine to wash it down with.
I love winter camping when you can make yourself cozy in a heated tent, using a wood stove to heat up the space, cook and provide light. A chair, my slippers, some fairy lights and some nice grub and it’s as comfortable as being at home - a home from home. Of course, I don’t always camp with this much luxury, I like to mix things up and camp very simply too, but a bit of ‘glamping’ is nice too.
I will be taking a little break in the new year - time to catch up with some home jobs, spend time with family and just have a little break from the filming and re-charge. I hope you understand, but in the meantime I would like to wish you all a wonderful Christmas and festive season and a very happy new year!
