FF7 - Ruby Weapon defeated with a SCIENIB&NCGMONCLB rule

SC : Solo Character IE : Initial Equipment NI : No Item B&NCGMO : Blue & No Curative Green Materia Only NCLB : No Curative Limit Break No Curative Green Materia, means you can't use Restore, Revive and Full Cure. So, it looks funny to find how the hell you can survive in this battle. In fact, Elemental will be the key here. But not with Ruby's attacks, as Ruby Flame is the only one you can absorb. No, it'll be thanks to... yourself ! Put something like Lightning - Elemental in both weapon and armor will work like a cure if you attack yourself. That means you can't use Cloud, Barret or Tifa for this challenge, as you can put only one Materia on their initial armor. This strat works with Fire, Ice, Lightning, Earth and Gravity. Unfortunately, if you attack Ruby Weapon physically, she'll absorb your attack at each time (unless Gravity, 0 HP) ! Hopefully, there are Limit Breaks ; these attacks are non-elemental, even if you have elements on your weapon ! Nontheless, there is another problem : if you attack Ruby Weapon, she countersteers with one of her tentacles, and she'll do another attack before you have the time to do something ! In this case, a stuff like right tentacle + Ruby Flame = death... How to fix the problem ? By putting the ATB in Wait. If you choose your attack while Ruby Weapon is attacking, the timer will stay to WAIT until all your limit break. And when she's countersteering with a tentacle, the timer is always at WAIT. It starts again after the countersteer, and it's only after this countersteer, that attack's bars of Ruby Weapon and your character start to fill. So with a 255 Dexterity, you'll be able to stop the timer before Ruby Weapon has the time to attack again. The trick to keep the timer at WAIT during a limit break works only if the enemy is doing an attack when you choose the limit break, and if your bar isn't totally filled when the enemy starts his attack ! And it can be a problem when Ruby Weapon will run out of MP. For example, if she does an attack which fills your limit break's bar entirely, then you cure yourself by a physical attack, and then you launch your limit break. But if you launch it just after the message "Ruby Weapon is run out of MP", that means Ruby Weapon isn't attacking, and therefore the timer won't stop during your limit break. So, the only possibility is Defend. With this command, your bar empties and you'll be able to stop the timer for her next attack. Yuffie is a great character for this challenge thanks to her limit break Gauntlet. It's always critical, and it passes over Ruby Weapon's defence ! About statistics, Strength, Dexterity and Spirit have to be at 255. Luck isn't mandatory, even if it's better to do more critical hits when you "cure" yourself. In the opposite size, Vitality has to be the lowest possible, to be sure you'll still do a great "cure" on yourself, even if you don't reach a critical hit. At level 99, Yuffie's Vitality is around 80. Here, she's at 132, but it's cos I took a save from a previous challenge, where Dexterity and Luck were already at 255, and I was too lazy to take another save ! ^^ You need 81 Gauntlet to kill Ruby Weapon ; it takes a lot of time (this battle lasts 1 hour and 46 minutes), so in this video, you only have the 11 first minutes, and the 3 last minutes of the battle (but once you have the strat, it's always the same stuff ^^). Use Fury can be a good idea, but there is a problem ; with Fury, your limit break's bar can be filled in one shot, and sometimes you won't have the time to choose Attack command before it's replaced by Limit Break command. As I can put another Materia in my Initial Equipment, I tried to fix the problem with Haste, but it becomes really difficult once Ruby Weapon is run out of MP, when you have to deal with the ATB...
