Florida Highway Patrol Troopers arrested an 18-year-old man from Wisconsin after a pursuit following a hit-and-run ended with a PIT maneuver in Escambia County.
The incident occurred when FHP troopers were responding to a possible stolen vehicle call. A trooper witnessed a crash at the intersection of Highway 29 and West Burgess Road involving a white Volvo and a gray Audi.
The Audi then fled the scene. Troopers attempted to stop the Audi, but it actively evaded them.
