On April 4, 2023, at approximately 12:40 pm, a Florida Highway Patrol trooper traveling south on I-75 near the 427-mile marker in Alachua County observed a white Chevy in the center lane exhibiting erratic behavior. The car was weaving, rapidly accelerating and decelerating, and approaching other vehicles dangerously close. The speed of the vehicle increased to around 90 mph, with continued erratic lane movements. The driver's behavior became even more unstable as speeds exceeded 100 mph, indicating potential DUI.
