This Filipino dish is not only my favorite, but it’s also loved by most of us Filipinos.
It’s perfect for dinners and makes a great pulutan too. I’ve been wanting to cook this Bopis Recipe for a while. It’s not the simplest or easiest dish to make, but I gave it my best shot and wanted to share how I cooked it.
Ingredients:
500g. Pork lungs
500g. Pork heart
500g. Pork kidney
Water, for boiling
Salt
Garlic
Onion
Whole black pepper
Vinegar
1 cup Oil
⅓ cup Annatto seeds
Annatto oil, for sautéing
¼ cup Ginger, minced
¼ cup Red onion, minced
¼ cup White onion, minced
6 cloves Garlic, minced
6 pcs. Laurel leaves
(Pork innards)
Salt, to taste
1 cup Vinegar
¼ cup Soy sauce
1 Tbsp. Sugar
1 pack Maggi Magic Sarap
3 pcs. Red chili, sliced
2 cups Carrots, diced
2 cups Radish, diced
¼ cup Red bell peppers, diced
