And we are back. After a longer break, working on various things I’ve finally knuckled down and got this damn thing finished. Sorry for the delay. I really wanted to do this sooner. It's just the way the dice fall sometimes.
So following on from the Final Fantasy IX retrospective we are here with a nearly 2 hour deep dive on Final Fantasy X. I’m a few days late for the 22nd anniversary sorry but hey at least it’s done now.
So in this incredible JRPG we will be taking control of Tidus and crossing the world of Spira to fight the invincible Kaiju called Sin.
What starts as a fairly simple tale of a monster and a holy pilgrimage soon degrades into a tangled web of intrigue and corruption that highlights the dangers of theocracy and religious indoctrination.
While I have some issues with this game and even left my very first playthrough back on my Playstation 2, with an overall lack luster impression it still has some of the best combat in any final fantasy along with some great characters and a really fascinating world to explore.
So if you’ve all prayed for protection from Yevon at the nearest temple, why don’t we head out into the world and see what it’s all about.
