I assume many of you have heard about the notation software Finale having the plug pulled this week.
For about 35 years, musicians and music students have been using Finale for music composition and arranging. If you perform, you have likely performed from a score created in this program! This has generated lots of discussion about what is next for composers and arrangers who relied heavily on this engraving tool. Fear not!
In this video, I discuss some alternative programs you could consider as well as a general discussion about "notationphobia"—if that is a word.
