Many different fire alarm system components were manually and automatically triggered during the September 11, 2001, attacks on U.S. soil. 7 World Trade Center, which was a building next to the Twin Towers, collapsed on the evening of 9/11. The fire alarm system in that building was promptly activated in the morning and the entire building was thankfully evacuated before it collapsed. This system test on the Wheelock and Fire-Lite voice evacuation fire alarm demonstration board features the alarm sound heard throughout the 7 World Trade Center while it was being evacuated (FireCom 8500 Whoop/Chime). Thank you for watching!
