Welcome to the new series! We're in China, ready to embark on an exciting adventure. In the last video, I took a train from Tibet to China, arriving in Xining. From there, I hopped on a bullet train to Lanzhou, kicking off the journey full of excitement and anticipation.
Navigating the train system wasn't easy—communication with the conductors was a challenge—but I finally settled into my seat and enjoyed the scenic views, with the surprising number of tunnels that China is known for. After a brief stop in Lanzhou, I explored a local café, sipped some tea, and took a moment to relax.
Continuing the journey, I had to switch stations, so I took the metro to save time and smoothly made it to the railway station. After a security check, I boarded a sleeper train to Shanghai and called it a day.
The next morning, after a quick train tour and another tea break, I arrived in Shanghai. A metro ride later, I met my friend Deepanshu. We grabbed some snacks and visited a bookstore to buy a map of China since Google Maps isn’t widely used here.
With the map in hand, we set off to explore Shanghai’s towering buildings and vibrant city life, wrapping up an eventful day. We're just getting started, and I can’t wait to share with you guys what’s ahead!
