After laying the foundation over the last few tutorials, we have arrived at our first practical example of a control system! Modeling an RC circuit, we go over this first order system, remember how we created the model in the first place, how we can simulate it, and then compare the simulation with the real-life example. It is an amazing experience to see how the transfer function can yield results that so closely match the system it was modeled after.
This video tutorial is based on the written tutorial series that Kushal has created and we recommend using both the video and the written content to get a more thorough review of the topic. Kushal's more in-depth information and rigorous mathematical approach can be found here: https://www.circuitbread.com/tutorials/first-order-systems-2-2
