Boy, I did not know what to expect reading the term “folk punk” to describe this group, but this was an oddly nostalgic sound coupled with ferocious, heavy-handed bass riffs. I’m learning these guys were THE underground band of the 80s, but only if you were "in the know". The lyrics were such a trip (and especially quirky) against the happy, major-key progressions supporting them.
