Felicitating the winners of the 1st India-Ukraine essay competition, EEDI organized this online meeting within the framework of its project: Ukraine and South Asia - Open Dialogues. H. E. Dr. Oleksandr Polishchuk, Ambassador of Ukraine to India, Vadym Halaichuk, member of the Ukrainian Parliament greeted everyone, expressing their gratitude and congratulations. Mr. Halaichuk happened to be at the Verkhovna Rada, the Ukrainian Parliament. He even made a virtual excursion for all the winners schoolchildren of the main hall using his phone. Dr. Mridula Ghosh, Board Chair, EEDI as well as Chair of Jury conducted the meeting. Dr. Nataliya Solomashenko, Professor NaUKMA, Dr. Yulia Fil, Researcher, NAS, spoke as members of the Jury, highlighted the importance of the contest in presenting an accurate image of Ukraine to the world through the students' perspectives. C. N. Patel, CEO of PT GLOBAL EDU, one of the organizers also shared his thoughts on the project and its role in promoting public diplomacy. Dr. Olena Bordilovska of the National Institute of Strategic Studies expressed her positive thoughts and emotions about the project and wished it all success in the future. Each winner, all of them school student from India, spoke sincerely and wholeheartedly. Listen to the video for their wonderful inputs. The conversation ended with acknowledgments, a quiz, where all took part and discussions about future projects involving dialogue between Ukraine and India.
