Stemming from the Rocky Mountains and reaching down to the Badlands is one of Alberta's finest rivers. The Red Deer River. In it's northern waters it is home to pristine wild trout and as the water carries along and warms up it becomes ideal habitats to a multitude of different species. That is what we are going after in today's episode.
In this day float, I will not only be attempting to stay upright on my paddle board, but will be targeting some of the vast different southern Albertan species that call this river their home.
