In this video, I check out the newly opened Kamay Wharf in La Perouse, Botany Bay. Despite the crowds, I couldn't resist trying it out. I brought along two rods: one for regular bait fishing with a running sinker and circle hooks, and the other to target yakkas, as I needed some fresh bait. The weather was hot and sunny, and the conditions were great for fishing.
I ended up catching plenty of yakkas for bait, plus two big bream and one small trevally! A key to success was using old bread as berley for the yakkas, which worked wonders. Watch the full video to see how the new wharf stacks up for fishing!
