FISHING THE DALY RIVER , this episode is all about fishing with Cherabin on the Daly River, we show you how we caught them , stored them , fished with them and we ever cook some up on the coals. Cherabin are a freshwater prawn that thrive in tropical freshwater systems and do particularly well in the Northern Territory , the most common way to catch them is with Opera House Nets in slow moving or still freshwater Billabongs . It's always important to check the bag limits of these little critters , when we were on the Daly it was 10 per person . We absolutely loved our time on the Daly we went for six weeks and stayed for six months .
