Today on Fit Tip Tuesday I'm noodling around with the upper thigh measurement and how to use it as a guide to fit your front crotch. If you've tried to smooth wrinkles and you can't figure it out... Let's explore if it's valuable to try to capture the inner or outer thigh measurement to compare it to the depth of the pattern pieces. This is a tricky measurement to get because there isn't a defined "outer" or "inner" thigh marked around your leg. I'll show you how I try to capture the inner thigh measurement by taking a couple upper thigh measurements and doing a little math. Then I'll show you how to use the inner thigh measurement to compare it to the base of the crotch curve. I had fun shooting this one... I love thinking of different ways to get to the answer!
