Fixing Charcoal The No Spray Way! Using a gel plate & experimenting to find alternatives!
I don’t like using fixative sprays!
After watching an Instagram reel and having an ‘ah-ha’ moment, I set off to work out a way to seal charcoal drawings in my sketchbook without the need for smelly fixatives!
Follow my process of using the gel plate to fix and experiments with alternatives you could use if you don’t have a gelli plate.
