In this episode of Restore It, I tackle the tricky and infamous NOT jacking point on the E30. Many people mistake this spot for a jacking spot, the metal bends, the underseal breaks, moisture gets in, and the rust begins. This has to be one of the most common spots of rust on all of the BMW E30s. In episode 6, I'm taking you through what I did to replace the rust with good matching metal to bring it back to factory specs.
I also deal with three more simple rust spots in the right footwell, behind the pedals. Although simple in theory, they are an absolute pain to get to. Finally, I replaced the old rusty throttle pedal bracket with E30 Garage Norway's matching facelift version.
