The Mazda RX7 might be Mazda's most endeared car. With its high revving rotary engine, the sound is iconic in the car enthusiast world. The engine though isn't without its problems. Apex seals, turbo failures, you name it - it's probably happened. So what is a good alternative for an engine swap? Well the current argument might be this - a high revving, big power, turbo K24 swap. With a simpler piston engine that most car guys are familiar with, it seems like a no brainer. With the K24 becoming the "JDM LS Swap" in many ways, I was curious to see how it would do in a RWD platform. So let's talk about it!
