After all our hard work the Land Rover has given us a new challenge - to fix a transmission fault. It could be the cold weather or it could be low ATF as it's quite wet underneath. Either way we're going to fit a new easy filter kit with Ravenol 6HP ATF and hope for the best. Our Discovery 3 has already had an early veriosn of this kit fitted. If you still have the original plastic sump, you'll need to drop it and the hacksaw the spout off in situ. Then the whole assembly can be rotated 90 degrees and dropped out.
Once again we used a selection of Sealey tools for this job, all of which will be included with the D3 when it's auctioned off after our Alps trip.
