Briksdal Glacier (Briksdalsbreen) is a well-known glacier located at the end of the Oldedalen Valley in Vestland County, Norway.
This drive takes you from Fjærlands Tunnel near Bøyabreen Glacier to Briksdalsbre, which is a starting point for trekking to Briksdal Glacier. Both glaciers are part of Jostedal Glacier, the largest glacier in Europe.
Unfortunately, our trek to Briksdal Glacier was canceled due to rain.
After turning back halfway along the valley, we arrived at Gryta Camping located in the heart of Oldedalen Valley.
Despite being in a valley, this campsite is quite open and was one of the top three campsites I stayed at during my trip to Norway.
