In this video I will walk you through the set up of the Flashforge Adventurer 5M Pro high speed 3D printer from unboxing to your first print. This 3D printer requires very little in terms of assembly but I will show you how to get started with the Adventurer 5M Pro and share with you what I was able to achieve in terms of print quality.
We have several slicer options with the 5M Pro: FlashPrint 5 is the Flashforge slicer, but they have forked a version of Orca slicer for Orca-Flashforge. It is a highly capable slicer with more advanced features than FlashPrint 5.
I also demonstrate the use of my "Spool Stand X" upgraded spool stand that works great with the Adventurer 5M Pro:

Overall, I would recommend the Adventurer 5M Pro for beginner and advanced users alike. For the extra money over the non-pro model I believe you are going to benefit when printing with more advanced materials. However, if you're only printing with mostly PLA, the 5M non-pro model will save you a lot of money and it looks to be very capable.
Still, this printer provides excellent value amongst the competition in this price range and I've run it for quite some time now in my print farm. It has been motoring along now for a few months without any major issues. If anything major arises in the coming months I'll post back here.
Just remember if you are new to 3D printing I still think you should have realistic expectations of the learning curve involved with the hobby. The machine works well out of the box but if you happen to run into issues you will likely get frustrated at first. Take a deep breath, stick with it and don't give up! It doesn't matter if you have a Creality, Bambu Labs, or any other popular high speed printer of this era, eventually you will need to do some troubleshooting.
