The Kentucky KM-1000B is a mandolin known for its incredible tone and excellent craftsmanship, but it came with one…traditional feature —a flat fretboard. I decided to give it a modern twist by radiusing the fretboard to match the comfortable curve of a Collings mandolin. Watch as I take this Kentucky KM-1000B from flat to well… not flat.
