This Fleet Friday is one of our most detailed! It features Ladder 12, known as "The Black Pearl" which is housed at Firehouse 12 at 6529 S. Broadway in Littleton. The Firehouse 12 motto is the "Pirates of Broadway," their theme is included on the apparatus and their equipment.
During 2020 Ladder 12 responded to 2,259 total incidents making it the busiest aerial apparatus at South Metro. 42 of those incidents were dispatched as structure fires.
Ladder 12 is a 2015 Pierce Velocity and the only non-platform aerial or "Tower" apparatus at South Metro Fire Rescue.
